Run differential across all 30 teams
Run differential is the simplest way to see how good a team really was. A club that wins a lot of one-run games can finish with a better record than its runs suggest, and that luck rarely holds for a full season. The Reds beat their expected record by 10 wins, the biggest gap on the positive side, while the Tigers finished 13 wins under theirs. The luck table shows the same comparison for every club.
How to use the team pages
Each team page opens with the next game: the opponent, the date and time in Eastern Time, a countdown, the ballpark, the TV channel and the club's radio station. Channels for national windows and postseason games are often announced only a few days ahead, so a game can show "TV to be announced" for a while before the listing fills in. Below the next game you find the upcoming schedule with a channel for every date MLB has confirmed, the season record split by home and road, the last ten results with a chart of runs scored and allowed, the first-inning profile that drives NRFI rates, the home ballpark's scoring index and the current injured list.
Division winners this season: Rays (98-64), Guardians (85-77), Astros (81-81), Braves (94-68), Brewers (103-59), Dodgers (100-62). For today's starting pitchers across all games, see the probable pitchers board, and for side-by-side numbers on each game, the matchup data page.
